Targeted Medical Pharma Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company, develops and commercializes proprietary nutrient pharmaceutical systems. Our therapeutic products target multiple diseases and disorders that encompass large patient populations.
We currently offer nine medical food products that can be used as a standalone therapy or co-administered with the lowest FDA approved dose of generic pharmaceuticals as part of a targeted therapeutic system for the dietary management of disease. Our current products manage the increased nutritional requirements associated with pain syndromes, sleep disorders, asthma, viral infection, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, and obesity.
We intend to continue to develop our technology and build a diverse portfolio of products that reduce the harmful side effects of drugs and provide a targeted therapeutic option for specific nutrient deficiencies associated with disease. Physician Therapeutics, a division of the Company, manufactures and distributes our products to physicians in the United States and to licensing partners in Japan.
